About Staffing the Mission

Staffing the Mission was founded in 2016 by Class Action, which from 2004 to 2023 was a national organization that raised awareness of classism in our society, including in nonprofit organizations. In December 2023, Staffing the Mission merged with Fund the People, a national initiative to maximize investment in America's nonprofit workforce. Staffing the Mission is now the research and data-dissemination arm of Fund the People.
